I would like to create few videos about "interesting facts", example as below. Anyone know where should I search for suitable images to avoid legal issue? Can I use images from wikipedia?
- The 7 Wonders of The World - Top 10 Beautiful Female Politician - List of Malaysia Prime Minister - Top 10 Cheapest Cities in The World
Some places images available at Pixabay/ Pexels, but some famous people images not available there. I just wonder is there any legal issue if I copy the images from Wikipedia or others blog.
Thanks,
Joe

Hi Joe. Make sure to check the license of the materials you are using. Public domain materials are safe from legal issues and these materials do not require attribution. If the materials require attribution, provide attribution at the end of your video.

Thanks Phil, if I want to create Smartphone comparison video (eg: Samsung S7 Edge vs iPhone 6s Plus), do you think I can use pictures from their website? In fact I'm promoting their products (with my affiliate link). Or I should visit a smartphone shop and shoot my own images?

To be strict with copyrights, it is not allowed to use materials that you do not own without permission. But affiliate marketers are using pictures from the product's official websites in their projects which I also do by the way and I haven't got any issues so far. Shooting a video of the product in shops, recording yourself doing a review of the product is way better than just using static pictures in your video. People buy from real reviewers especially when they talk in front of the camera.
